SO WHAT MAKES SEAWEED SO GOOD?
Seaweed absorbs up to 20 times more CO2 than trees per acre! It also improves water quality by extracting harmful nutrients such as nitrogen from the sea. And seaweed under optimal conditions can grow an astonishing six inches a day, gosh, what a plant (and solution)!
WE'RE ON A ROLL...
A roll to do some good, so we use 100% recycled paper - no trees or bamboo are harmed in the making of our (toilet) rolls! We use recycled paper from newspapers, cereal boxes, etc and it is manufactured in the UK!
Sounds too good to be true? Well there’s more! Because not only do we donate 20% of all our profits to planting seaweed but also for every box of toilet roll bought we're planting a tree!
MAKING WAVES...
For every MightyPod and MightyTablet bought a contribution has been made to Surfers Against Sewage (a charity that is on a mission to educate people about our oceans and improve water quality).
SPONGING UP THAT CO2...
We are excited to announce that as our present to mother nature for every sponge bought we're planting some coral, woo hoo! As nearly 25% of all marine life depends on coral reefs!
AND THERE'S MORE!
We are planning on increasing the percentage of all our donations, so the more our business grows the more we can give back to Mother Nature!

Fed up with greenwashing and the lack of action? So are we. We are transparent because we want to share with you what’s in our products and who, where and how they are made. So, you can make an informed decision without the fluff!
Starting with showing where our products are made and manufactured because we are bursting with pride and excited to show you that we were able to keep our products as close to the UK as possible to reduce our carbon footprint. We're so excited we made a cute nifty slide show of it (coming soon)!
And of course, we ensure that all the lovely people helping us make our fantastic products receive a living wage.

We're B Corp Pending certified, yippee I know, this means that despite being just a start-up we meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. But of course, we are currently working towards being fully B Corp certified, only the best for you!

We are also elated to be certified by The Vegan Society. We use their definition of ‘vegan’ to mean that none of our MightyPods, MightyTablets and their packaging, or the processes, manufacturing and development it takes to make them, has or ever have involved the use of any animal product. All our product meet this high standard but we working towards all our goodies being certified.

We carbon negative (climate positive) because there's no time like now! We are making that planet positive impact though Carbon Neutral Britain and through donations to help plant: sea grass, trees, meadows and coral but also by having minimum packaging and by having 'Bottles For Life' to reduce emissions and waste.

UNBOTTLING THE EXCITEMENT...
We are ecstatic to introduce our ‘Bottles for Life’, that are made from recycled plastic with the goal to reduce the helluva lot of single use plastic bottles bobbing in the ocean. And of course our bottles are made in the UK too!
Plus, all the ink we use is water-based, meaning it has ZERO fossil fuel. You're gobsmacked too right?

We have spent countless hours researching the most sustainable ingredients, plants and materials to give you the best product possible and stumbled upon some crazy facts. So if you're wondering why we don't use some ingredients, plants or materials, here's why!
WHY WE'RE SUGAR FREE...
We are sugar free (but still sweet) because sugar cane is a very thirsty crop, guzzling around 210 litres of water to produce 1 kg of sugar cane, bonkers right?
But we are also sugar free because of the fabulous health benefits like: better dental health, decreasing your risk of depression and reducing your risk of heart disease, just to name a few!
Lucky, there is a solution, going sugar free and even luckier we make it easy and delicious!
DID YOU KNOW...
The other reason why we are sugar free...
Sugar mills produce massive quantities of plant matter and sludge washed from mills decompose in freshwater bodies, absorbing all the available oxygen and leading to massive fish kills and 'dead zones'.
WHY WE'RE COTTON FREE...
Just the production of 1 KG of cotton needs between 10,000 to 20,000 litres of water, depending on where it is grown, that's insane!
For example, producing 1kg of cotton in India consumes 22,500 litres of water, on average, according to the excellent research done by the Water Footprint Network.

WHY WE'RE BAMBOO FREE...
Be ready to be bamboozled with reasons why we are bamboo free: reason 1, hardwood forests are now being destroyed just to make room for bamboo plantations. Reason 2, bamboo is typically grown in Asia using vast quantities of fossil fuel for shipping and because it is a new material. Reason 3, it requires a greater amount of resources to produce, including 30% more energy to manufacture.
Feel bamboozled yet well don’t threat it because instead, we use 100% recycled paper for our toilet rolls - no trees or bamboo are harmed in the making of our toilet paper!

WHY WE'RE PALM OIL FREE...
We're palm oil free because well, palm oil has been and continues to be a major driver of deforestation of some of the world's most beautiful and biodiverse forests, also palm oil contributes to soil erosion causing an increase in flooding and makes it harder for the soil to locking carbon (not particularly very handy) but also 84% of palm oil is grown in Indonesia and Malaysia which is on the other side of the World (from the UK) meaning it would have a huge carbon footprint tethered to it.
Shaking in your boots yet, well don't because there are sustainable solutions such as: Shea butter and coconut oil, the oils we use.

WHY WE'RE COFFEE BEAN FREE...
This bean has a dark side. 18,900 litres of water are needed to produce 1kg of roasted coffee beans. That means that 130 litres of water for just for a (125ml) cup of coffee before it is even brewed! Nuts right?!
Being coffee bean free also means a reduce in dehydration, reducing your risk of anxiety and reducing your risk of restlessness, among many others!
